There was precious little media coverage of this vet's wheelchair arduous journey from Orlando to Washington of about 500 miles. In spite of it being accomplished when he was attending a Public Policy Conference hosted by the ALS Association in Washington media coverage was not arranged.
Ken Patterson is the vet with ALS. Ken depends on his electric wheelchair entirely for mobility. Imagine sitting in that wheelchair for 500 miles.
Ken is a hero and unfortunately the ALS Association squandered making the public aware of his heroism
