As you watch the Olympic coverage, think about Mao. Regardless of what you think of him, he carried incredible power and influence. Even one of the world's most powerful men couldn't escape the fate of motor neuron disease. He died 32 years ago. Surely his fate would have been different today, you say? Nope.
