If ALSA continues non cooperation with other national ALS organizations as has been the practice of past and present leaders there is no hope. We hoped new leadership would allow some maturation but it is not likely to result in a secure, mature leadership. It is not to be.
When your children become unmanageable and out-of-control, parents have options that include drugs. When your ALS non-profit becomes unmanageable and out-of-control, patients have no options or drugs.
So, I bid farewell - washing my hands of all this ALS gibberish, I'm off to save the whales.
